Bitcoin, money or monkey money?

A series of round tables organized by François Goerlich at the Château de Fisenne (Belgium) on the future of money and the solutions proposed by Bitcoin.

On November 24, presentation on Bitcoin security during transactions. A high degree of pure trust in a currency when transacting between strangers improves “Coexistence”. Can new digital technologies improve trust in our currencies?

December 1, presentation on the role of bitcoin energy expenditure. Energy is a universal unit of measurement. How does bitcoin’s energy expenditure compare to the unlimited money creation of the euro and the historical store of value of gold?

December 8, presentation of the concrete use of Bitcoin. The practical use of money (banknotes, coins, checks, money transfers, digital euros, bitcoins, satoshi…), its advantages and disadvantages. Will the price of Bitcoin reach zero?

All meetings will take place at the castle of Fisenne (1 rue du Château, 6997 Fisenne) on Thursday evening, between 19:30 and 21:30.
